Summary: This article presents the history of the PKEt – one of the longest-serving Polish committees within the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers – by presentation of its chairpersons. Particular attention is paid to the three chairpersons who served the longest: Prof. Bronisław Sochor (14 years), Prof. Mirosław Wciślik (12 years) and Prof. Jerzy Zgraja (12 years).
