Summary: The article introduces the character of Roman Dzieślewskiego – the first Polish professor of electrical engineering at the Technical University of Lvov, who was also a rector of the university. It describes his achievements and contribution to the development of Polish higher education in electricals. The article describes the successful efforts of prof. George Hickiewicz for renovation of prof. Dzieślewski's tomb and gives a report from the celebration of unveiling the renovated tomb in 2013.
